Numbness and burning in feet

Why are my feet numb or burning?

Numbness and burning in your feet or legs is a result of improper nerve function. The medical term of this is Peripheral Neuropathy. There are medical conditions which affect the nerves and can cause altered sensations such as numbness and burning in the feet and legs. Diabetes is a common medical condition that can cause numbness; tingling, burning or “pins n needles” in the feet or legs, but there are also many medical conditions that can be the underlying cause.

B vitamins and nerve health for numb or burning feet.

The B vitamins are essential for good nerve health and in particular vitamin B1 and B12. These vitamins are found in animal products such as meat, fish, and eggs. Our bodies need these vitamins but cannot store them so a constant daily supply is needed. If you find you use the toilet more regularly than normal, for example people with diabetes often have a more regular need to go to the toilet then you will be flushing B vitamins out of your body more quickly. This leads to low levels of B vitamins in your body and will affect your nerve health (experienced as numbness, burning and tingling).

Anatomy of nerves.

Nerves have an outer sheath which protects them called the myelin sheath. B vitamins help to maintain the myelin sheath, so in the situation that B vitamins are depleted the nerves lose their natural protection and you get altered sensations such as numbness and burning.

How NeuRemedy helps treat numbness and burning in feet or legs.

NeuRemedy works by boosting B vitamin levels in the body. NeuRemedy uses “bioactive” B vitamins. Bioactive simply means we use B vitamins in a form that can be quickly used by the body before they are expelled (because they cannot be stored).
